For students who are serious about competition driving and taking their skills to the next level,
the PCRA offers the 2-Day Advanced Road Racing SCCA Drivers School class. This comprehensive course is designed to give aspiring racers the foundation, experience, and credentials needed to begin their racing careers. Over this two-day course, students will receive in-depth classroom instruction, combined with extensive on-track training and lapping, which focuses on advanced driving techniques, racing scenarios, race craft, proper race weekend procedures, and actual multiple lap mock races. Upon the successful completion of the program, students will receive their SCCA Novice Permit, which includes one SCCA race event credit.

The SCCA Novice Permit enables students to participate in a regional SCCA-sanctioned race. After completing two additional SCCA race events beyond the school, students become eligible to apply for their SCCA National Full Competition License, a major milestone that opens the door to even more competitive and prestigious racing opportunities within the SCCA structure.

All PCRA classes feature a maximum 3:1 student-to-instructor ratio, ensuring that each student receives highly personalized coaching, immediate feedback, with the majority of this class time spent on track, the ultimate classroom.
