It offers Podium Club members the opportunity to enjoy multi-round competition in a safe and well-organized environment, where the focus is as much on sportsmanship and camaraderie as it is on results.

Steps to Secure a License & Enter a Race
Step 1: Apply for Your Cactus Cup License
-
It’s free to apply.
-
Reciprocity with SCCA, NASA, and other national organizations.
-
Those with a ProAutoSports license will be interviewed to determine if any additional training is needed before racing.
Step 2: Register for an Event
-
Once your license is approved, you can register for upcoming races.
-
Registration is open for one event at a time.
Step 3: Determine Your Class
-
Before registering, review the Classes section of the Rules and Regulations to confirm where your car or motorcycle fits:
-
Cars are classed by power-to-weight ratio (PWR) OR type: GR86, RUSH, or open-wheel.
-
-
Motorcycles are classed by engine displacement only.
Example: Porsche GT3 = 3,278 lbs ÷ 502 hp = 6.53 PWR → GT3 Race Group
If your car doesn’t have a roll cage or fire suppression system (both required for wheel-to-wheel racing), you can still participate in the Time Trial (TT) and Time Attack (TA) sessions. In this case, you’d register for both TT and TA to maximize your track time on 11/1.
Eligibility Notes:
-
Motos, GR86s, and Sedans can technically compete in all three race groups (TT, TA, and W2W) with the same vehicle as long as it meets the tech requirements.
-
RUSH and Open-Wheel cars cannot run in TT, but can race in TA and W2W.
-
Members with more than one vehicle can enter multiple classes — for example, someone running a Motorcycle and a GR car could race up to six times during the day.

Step 4: Checkout & Fees
-
At checkout, simply select the number of total races for this single day event. 1 or 2+ races. Pay accordingly.

Meals & Guest Participation
-
Lunch and dinner are included for all members at no additional charge.
-
For non-members, the process is the same; however, race fees are higher, and meals are not included.
