Podium Club Launches New F1, MotoGP Fantasy Racing Games

The Podium Club is shifting fantasy racing into high gear with the launch of two new, free-to-play fantasy games—one dedicated to Formula 1 and the other to MotoGP. Designed for fans who live and breathe the highest forms of motor racing, these games combine season-long strategy, weekly competition, and real-world motorsports rewards that only the Podium Club can offer.

Both fantasy games are completely free to enter, with weekly winners earning Podium Club t-shirts and major championship prizes awaiting the top three players at season’s end. The overall champion will receive a $1,000 Podium Club Track Pass, good for a full day of member privileges on the Southwest's best professional racing circuit. Second place earns a $799 Academy Track Pass, including seat time in a race-prepped Toyota GR86, while third place takes home a $500 Half-Day Thrill Pass—all prizes that put players directly on track, not just on the couch.

The format is intentionally simple and fan-friendly. There are no drafts, no salary caps, and no budgets to manage. Players simply pick their favorite drivers or riders before qualifying for each Formula 1 or MotoGP race weekend. Points are awarded for qualifying results, finishing position, and manufacturer performance—as long as your selected starter finishes inside the top 16. The strategic twist? Each driver or rider can only be selected for half of the season’s races, forcing players to think ahead and manage their picks wisely over the long haul.

These new Podium Club fantasy games are part of the long-running Fantasy Motorsports Franchise League (FMFL) family, a name with deep roots in American motorsports. Founded in 1989, FMFL is widely regarded as the first fantasy racing game in America. Over the years, its resume has included high-profile online promotions for Roush Fenway Racing, NHRA drag racing, and the iconic Wind Tunnel with Dave Despain TV show on the SPEED channel.

It’s important to note these games are not gambling platforms. However, players can create private leagues for friends, family, or co-workers—and what those groups choose to put on the line is entirely up to them.

Registration is now open, as picks for the Buriram, Thailand MotoGP season-opener are due February 26, with F1 picks due March 7, before the Grand Prix of Australia in Melbourne.

Formula 1 fans can sign up at f1.fmfl.net, while MotoGP followers can join at motogp.fmfl.net. Pick your drivers, manage your season, and race for real-world track time—because at the Podium Club, fantasy racing doesn’t just stay fantasy.
