Formula 1
Max Verstappen (Red Bull) swept the rain-delayed Saturday Sprint and Sunday Grand Prix in Singapore. Lewis Hamilton (Ferrari) and Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) completed the Sprint podium after George Russell (Mercedes) crashed all by his lonesome on Lap 1. Late contact between teammates Lando Norris (McLaren) and Oscar Piastri (McLaren) sent both spinning; officials issued no penalty, leaving them eighth and 14th.
On Sunday, Verstappen controlled the Grand Prix from flag to flag, leading Leclerc and Kimi Antonelli (Mercedes) across the finish line, with Norris fourth and Piastri fifth. It was the four-time World Driving Champion's first victory at Singapore after nine previous attempts.
Championship leader Antonelli extended his advantage over Russell to 102 points and can clinch the title at Austin.

NASCAR
Chase Briscoe (No. 19 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota) defeated teammate Christopher Bell (No. 20 JGR Toyota) by 0.029 seconds — the closest Cup finish of 2026 — in Sunday’s Bank of America 400 at Charlotte, to follow up his win last week at Las Vegas.
Ryan Blaney (No. 12 Team Penske Ford) finished third. Denny Hamlin (No. 11 JGR Toyota) recovered to fifth after a loose-tire safety penalty early, while Kyle Larson (No. 5 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet) led the most laps and finished sixth, expanding his championship points lead to 49. Rain canceled practice and qualifying for the first fall race on the oval, not the roval, since 2017.

Marc Márquez (Ducati Lenovo/Ducati) won Saturday’s Sprint in Indonesia, with Ai Ogura (Trackhouse Aprilia) and Fabio Di Giannantonio (VR46 Ducati) filling out the podium.
Sunday’s MotoGP at Mandalika belonged to Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia Racing/Aprilia), who beat the injured Raúl Fernández (Trackhouse Aprilia) — riding with two broken fingers — and Jorge Martín (Aprilia Racing/Aprilia). Márquez finished sixth, allowing Martín to reclaim the championship lead by two points, 355–353. Bezzecchi’s victory was the 300th premier-class MotoGP win by an Italian rider.
