Your first step toward competitive racing starts now
For students who are serious about getting into racing and taking their skills to the next level, the PCRA offers the 2-Day Advanced SCCA Drivers School class. This comprehensive course is designed to give aspiring racers the foundational experience and credentials needed to begin their racing careers. Over the two days, students will receive in-depth classroom instruction combined with extensive on-track training, focusing on advanced driving techniques, racecraft, and proper race-day procedures. Upon successful completion of the program, students will be awarded their SCCA Novice Permit, which includes 1 SCCA race event credit.

This SCCA Novice Permit enables students to participate in regional SCCA-sanctioned races. After completing two additional SCCA race events beyond the school, students become eligible to apply for their SCCA National Full Competition License, a major milestone that opens the door to even more competitive and prestigious racing opportunities within the SCCA structure.
All PCRA classes feature a maximum 3:1 student-to-instructor ratio, ensuring that each student receives highly personalized coaching, immediate feedback, and the most on-track seat time possible. This small class size approach is a core part of the PCRA’s commitment to developing confident, capable, and competitive drivers.

"I without question recommend it to anyone who wants to develop their driving, a must for those wanting to improve their skills, knowledge and overall race craft!" - Bill Tybur
